ROLL FORM PALLET RACK
Roll-Formed Pallet Racking is a type of pallet racking where the steel is cold-rolled and formed into the shape of posts and beams for the racking system. For many industries, Roll-Formed pallet racking is the economical choice for warehouse storage and distribution. It is lighter weight, yet strong, flexible and long-lasting.
There are various types of roll-formed pallet rack frame punch patterns. The most popular type is known as Teardrop Pallet Rack which is constructed with popular “Teardrop” components that can be customized to meet most warehouse and storage facility needs.
STRUCTURAL PALLET RACK
Certain high weight items may have to be stored on Structural Pallet Racks. The thicker uprights and beams not only handle more weight, but they are also less susceptible to damage, and can be used when a frame of extreme height is required.
PUSH BACK PALLET RACK
A Pushback or “last-in first-out” system is ideal for fast-moving items. It may also be your only option when spacial restrictions eliminate the possibility of standard pallet rack. A compact Pushback System eliminates the need for aisles between bays, resulting in high-density pallet storage. Push Back Pallet Rack applications include: cold storage, food & beverage, grocery, consumer packaged goods, food manufacturing & distribution.
FLOW THROUGH PALLET RACK
A Pallet Flow or “first in first out” system is another option for high-density pallet storage. Pallets rest on inclined flow rails, and move toward the front of the system as one is removed. A Pallet Flow System is excellent for inventory control, and can be constructed from roll formed or structural pallet rack.
DRIVE IN PALLET RACK
Drive-In Pallet Rack is installed in warehouses and distribution centers for an ultra high-density storage solution. Ideal for fast moving inventory and it’s also an excellent system for product that isn’t time sensitive. Drive-In Pallet Racking is very cost-effective and is a “Last in, first out” (LIFO) system that can achieve more than double the storage capacity of standard selective pallet rack. We’ve designed Drive-In Racking Systems that store from 2 to 10 pallets deep per pallet position! The biggest advantages of drive-in rack is you get maximum pallet storage and much more efficient use of space due to the minimum warehouse aisles they use. Pallets can be stored back-to-back They are also referred to as Drive-Thru or Drive-Through Pallet Racking, where the only difference is the rack is open at both ends which allows a forklift to “drive through” it. This changes the system from a LIFO pallet storage system to a FIFO racking system.
CARTON FLOW PALLET RACK
Carton Flow Rack is the same concept as Pallet Flow, but on a different scale. Carton Flow Rack is mainly used in distribution warehouses for fast fast-moving items. Flow lanes are customized to individual SKUs. A Carton Flow System can help increase product deployment speed and efficiency. This type of system can help improve your pick rates and reduce labor costs.
