This is because they’re all different sizes and they don’t fit neatly into a small box. You need a custom motorcycle pallet rack storage system that can store a spectrum of sizes and types of motorcycles and parts. The great team over at Brian’s Harley Davidson in Langhorne, PA had a storage problem. As any fan of Harley Davidson knows, they have the most passionate and loyal customers. However, their passion for storing customers’ motorcycles for general or winter storage became increasingly limited due to the space constraints at their local dealership. Their storage room was completely filled and because they couldn’t store more, potential customers were being turned away. Some bikes were even overflowing into the showroom area. The motorcycles they were storing were becoming increasingly harder to retrieve for their customers and even became scratched or damaged because of the lack of space.

After contacting the space experts at STORCOOR, experts John Giacomucci and his team were able to test and develop a brand new push back rack storage system designed specifically for the steel motorcycle pallets that were being used at the Harley-Davidson dealership. This particular storage system was designed to store 11 pallets per bay and allowed for these additional motorcycles to be securely stored and retrieved on each rack section!

Storage Coordinators designed a custom push back system that provides high density storage while allowing for easy access to customer bikes. This flexible system allows a customer to store from 2 to 6 pallets in depth. However, our push back pallet rack systems using heavy duty rails can be designed for a maximum of 12 pallets deep of storage. Designed using pallet flow rails or rollers, this system can be better customized and designed around long, short, or non-standard pallet sizes.
Our system provides full support for the pallet and the STORCOOR HD Pushback Rack Motorcycle Storage System can provide a safety bar between the rails for the last pallet stored on the rails.
Our versatile system allows for the frames to be arranged in a traditional straight line front to back or a staggered frame pattern. The staggered pattern reduces the column load which reduces loading on the floor. It also reduces the capacity required on the support beam which reduces the height of the beam and increases the available vertical height.

Additional revenue for the dealership was also achieved. Storing a flat fee for motorcycle winter storage for $299 to $399 with the additional space for 187 extra motorcycles each season can yield an extra $55,913 to $74,613 in revenue per season.
